Today I am sharing a delclious chicken seasoning recipe and a brilliant method for cooking chicken breasts using a skillet so they’ll turn out juicy every time!

Season, sear, and slow cook in a skillet for tender, juicy chicken!
I included all the steps involved in the recipe, but basically, you’ll be seasoning the chicken, searing it with oil, adding broth to the skillet, and then lowering the heat to slow cook and steam the chicken with the lid on the skillet.
The result will be tender, juicy chicken breasts to slice up for lunch or dinner!
Seasoned Juicy Skillet Chicken Breasts

Mix chicken rub and set aside. Pat chicken dry.

Heat a skillet on the stove to medium heat. Add the oil. Add the chicken breast. Let them sear for 5 minutes without moving.

Turn the chicken breasts over. Pour the chicken broth or water into the pan. Set the heat to low on the stove, and place the lid of the skillet on.

Let the chicken cook on low for ten minutes. Set a timer for this. Use a thermometer to check the internal temperature and see if it’s above 165 degrees. If it has not reached temperature, close the lid and let cook for a few minutes at a time to check again.

Once the chicken has cooked through transfer to a cutting board and let rest for a few minutes. Slice and enjoy with the pan drippings.
