October 7, 2025 The Black Ops 7 beta has been extended, and now ends on Thursday, October 9.
When is the Black Ops 7 beta? How is it that time of the year again? It feels like summer has barely started, and we’re counting down to those cozy fall evenings spent in front of the newest Call of Duty game.
When the Black Ops 7 release date was announced during Gamescom ONL, the first thing on our minds was when we’d be able to get our hands on this year’s entry in the iconic FPS game series. There’s always a huge multiplayer beta, and 2025 is no different, with a full week of multiplayer and Zombies action in the BO7 beta action just hours away.
Black Ops 7 beta dates and times
The Black Ops 7 beta is live now, and ends on Thursday, October 9, 2025, at 9am PDT / 12pm EDT / 5pm BST. The beta take place across PC, Xbox, and PlayStation.
This a unique format for a Call of Duty beta, as we have seen the closed and open betas take place on different weeks in previous years. This means that those who don’t have early access are limited to weekdays. Presumably, this is a move to encourage more players to pre-order, rather than waiting for the Game Pass launch.
All BO7 beta rewards
As ever, participating in the beta unlocks a bunch of rewards to show off in-game later in the year. These rewards are unlocked by reaching certain account levels during the beta – just remember this progress resets when the game launches.
The BO7 beta rewards and their level unlocks are:
- Beta Player Animated Emblem – Level 2
- Gun Flex Emote – Level 6
- Beta Neon Weapon Sticker – Level 11
- Beta Beasts Weapon Charm – Level 15
- Wei Lin Operator Skin – Level 20
- Falkner Operator Skin – Level 20 (pre-order players only)
- Beta Survivor Loading Screen – Level 23
- Beta Survivor Calling Card – Level 27
- Beta Survivor Weapon Blueprint – Level 30
How to get code for early access
As ever, early access to the beta is available to players who pre-order the game on any platform. However, you may also have an early access beta code if you watched CoD Next on September 30, 2025.

Otherwise, you can still pre-order either the Vault Edition or standard edition to get into the early access beta, while purchasing the Vault Edition also rewards players with a BlackCell Battle Pass for one season, an exclusive Operator collection, a Mastercraft weapon collection, an Ultra GobbleGum Pack for Zombies mode, and one Permanent Unlock Token, as well as exclusive beta rewards.
How to redeem early access codes
If you have your early access code, you must redeem it on the official site, choose your platform, and obtain a new, platform-specific code. Enter your new code on your chosen platform to gain access to the beta this weekend.
We’re looking forward to the Black Ops 7 beta as much as you are, but we’ve also got plenty of unfinished business to attend to in the predecessor.
