Tornado watch issued for area

The National Weather Service has issue a tornado watch for a large swath for much of southeastern Minnesota until midnight.
According to the NWS, showers and thunderstorms are possible, mainly before 11 p.m. tonight with some of the storms capable of producing heavy rainfall. One to two inches of rain are possible.
