Song Joong-ki and wife Katy Louise Saunders welcomed their second child, a baby girl, while they were in Rome.
According to several outlets, the actor confirmed the news via his online Deum fan cafe on November 20th. “I’m incredibly grateful to announce that we’ve been blessed with another beautiful baby, he wrote. “Our lovely princess was born healthy, and both my wife and our baby are doing well and resting.”
Saunders’ pregnancy was confirmed earlier in July via Song Joong-ki’s agency, Hai Ji-eum Studio, who had first shared the details with Sports Chosun. However, the agency did not disclose the child’s gender or timing of birth at that time. Song Joong-ki and Katy Louise Saunders tied the knot in January 2023. The couple are already parents to a boy, whom they welcomed five months after their marriage in Rome.
Before his marriage to Saunders, Joong-ki was married to South Korean superstar, Song Hye-Kyo, for two years. The former couple parted ways in 2019.
