ABOUT THIS FEED:
There are 3 tracks visible here. The 2 farthest from the camera are the BNSF Chillicothe Subdivision which is part of the BNSF Southern Transcon. The BNSF Fort Madison Yard is about 1.5 miles to the West. The BNSF Marceline Subdivision begins there and continues West to Kansas City. UP also has trackage rights here. The Amtrak Southwest Chief passes twice daily, once in each direction. The Fort Madison Toll Bridge to the east of camera is a swinging truss bridge over the Mississippi River that connects Fort Madison, Iowa, and Niota, Illinois. Rail traffic occupies the lower deck of the bridge, while two lanes of road traffic occupy the upper deck. FRA documents an average of 65 trains per day. The track closest to the camera is the BNSF Hannibal Sub, commonly known as the K-Line. It runs between Burlington IA and St. Louis, MO.
There is an ATCS layout available for this sub but ATCS itself is no longer available.
